At Advent Design each time we commission a stone master to create an Advent Design stone bath in travertine stone, great care is taken to select a block of travertine stone that will reveal a fantastic visual result.  

Travertine is a stone formed in areas in which percolating water bubbled through the sedimentary deposit.  This "bubbling dynamic" in the formation of this type of stone causes travertine's to have holes throughout their structure.  This enhances the visual beauty of this type of rock to the naked eye.
