We at Advent Design care deeply about Italy and all that it means to the world at large. Advent Design has relied heavily upon the good and great visions of the Italians for its magnificent Advent Stone custom stone bath creations. For more than thirty years Advent Design's founder has been traveling to Italy to gain inspiration and knowledge of this great culture. In fact, he lived in Italy for more than ten years. Luciam the second century Greek rhetorician described Italy as paradise. The buildings of Italy span almost 3,000 years drawing influences from a wide variety of sources. Etruscan and Roman buildings borrowed heavily from ancient Greece and in later centuries, Norman, Arabic and Byzantine styles colored Italy's Romanesque and gothic architecture. Anywhere you turn while in Italy your eye will discover the art and science of magnificent design. If you give the Italians a problem to solve they are proficient to resolve it. As part of their unique character as a culture the Italians have the inherent carefree and free thinking characteristic in their personality to freely dream of new ways to interpret ideas. A fundamental outcome of this inherent characteristic can be easily recognized in their art, architecture and creative design workmanship as a culture.
